As a general guideline, your child should be able to hold their head up firmly and maintain head control. While I find the early years, from 8 months to age 12, particularly sweet, there is no age limit for these special sessions. Every stage of your child's life is unique and worth preserving.

Heirloom portrait sittings are offered 2-3 times per year at a Dallas studio. The studio offers a changing room, sitting area with a TV, and snacks/drinks for after your session. Reach out via my contact form if you'd like to hear about upcoming events or schedule an in-home or on-location heirloom portrait event.

In many instances, I can capture images within a few minutes. For those children who need a little extra time to warm up to the camera, I allow a generous 15 minutes. This provides me time to engage with them, creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere that brings out their sweet personalities.
