Staff work alongside families to provide students with an amazing early childhood experience. The school uses an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the whole child and meets the needs of every child. The day School focuses on early childhood development and provides high-quality learning experiences to kids during the most important years of their lives. The teachers and staff understand child development and how to teach young kids using appropriate practices. A child’s first school experience sets the tone for a lifetime of learning, and The Day School is a great place to start. 

The teachers and staff are all lifelong learners. The school includes a Child Development Specialist who works with teachers to ensure the proper implementation of the curriculum. The current school director, Janet Perez, has vast experience as a counselor, early childhood intervention specialist, and child care trainer. She enjoys hosting “coffee and conversation” events for The Day School families to learn more about parenting and child development. 

The Day School focuses on a child-centered and uses a curriculum that maximizes learning. The curriculum is engaging and investigative, encouraging kids to ask questions and interact with their peers. They also guarantee small class sizes with low teacher-to-student ratios. So teachers take the time to get to know each child in a safe, encouraging environment. 

Specialty

The Day School is committed to helping families through support and resources to ensure success for every child. Developmental evaluations are offered when parents or teachers have concerns about a child’s development. They also assist you with referrals. The Day School works with professionals in speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, social and emotional learning, education testing, play therapy, and tutoring. Students can receive special services on campus during school hours with approved professionals.
