What are your favorite things about Good Shepherd Episcopal School?

We love the sense of community and how welcoming everyone has been. The curriculum is very intentional and well-thought out, and it shows! We also love seeing how much our daughter has learned and how excited she is to go to school every day; she is truly thriving.

What drew you to GSES?

A private, faith-based learning environment that is inclusive, with small class sizes.

Why did you decide to send your child to Good Shepherd Episcopal School?

It felt like home to us as soon as we visited for the first time, and gave us an overall great feeling. We also love the Classroom of the Earth outdoor education program that runs from PreK-8th grade. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn and experience so much outside of the classroom.

Does GSES have a particular educational philosophy or mission?

GSES’s mission is to inspire children to learn with confidence, serve with compassion, and lead with courage.

What does your child like most about Good Shepherd Episcopal School?

Our daughter loves centers and music class.

What curriculum does GSES follow and what do you like most about it?

They pull from all of the best parts of a few curricula such as Emilio Reggio and Montessori, to make for a wonderfully rounded experience.

What types of learning materials and toys are available for the children?

There are centers that change daily to work on fine and gross motor skills, a real kitchen, and a garden.

Good Shepherd Episcopal School

Good Shepherd Episcopal School’s childhood program allows even the youngest students to discover their own joy and confidence in how they learn. They are able to participate in a myriad of activities to uncover strengths, develop creativity, implement important socialization skills, begin to serve others, and even learn early leadership skills.
